Crystalline structure in various segregation zones
The micrographs of this examination shall give a summary about the possible form of the segregation distribution at continuous casting material . Depending on material , casting- and stirring parameter different segregation pictures are presented . Because of this reason, the form of the segregation zone is only to be taken as an example and doesn't lay any claim on a Standard . The area of picture extends over ca. 13x13 mm in the area of the core- and transition zone .
